Today I woke up in the mood to have a long walk…

When I got to the street, I felt the morning sun rays warming my skin, the birds were singing joyfully and slowly I realized that spring is coming back.

So with that in mind, I’ve decided today to style by showing some more skin and showcasing also some of the amazing deals, offered by the Designer Showcase event round for February.

Designer Showcase is one of the first events in SL with few years experience and providing well known designers items for 1 month at a price under 100L.

VoguE Lingerie Spring Collection Show!

Spring is in the Air, a fashion show presenting VoguE’s new Spring Lingerie and Bathing suits collection will be showcased this Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at 10 A.M. SLT.

12 exquisite lingerie, from nightie dress to corset and swim wears, presented to you by 6 fabulous models on stage.

After the show, for the hour the 12 sets will be put on sale. Those who miss the opportunity will have to wait for individual launch subsequently after the show on a weekly basis.

Relaxing on the beach

Today I’ve decided to cut off a bit from my activities, both in SL and RL, and to spend a lovely day on the beach…

The sun was warm, the sea had a captivating green and blue shade and I found the perfect spot: a colorful hammock to read a book and relax contemplating the landscape, forgetting my worries and duties, at least for today 😉

Back in time

Recently I had to create a styling for a casting, inspired in the 1920’s near Prohibition Era.

I am more of a modern girl in the way I like to dress, (most of you generally saw me in colorful clothing and casual wear), so this challenge made me research a bit (which I also love since I am very curious) and then try to put together a look to submit…

After I knew in my mind how I wanted to look (we were told we could style under casual, lingerie, costume, formal or bathing suits), I went and visited several places to find the “IT” outfit.

I ended up landing at Donna Flora, which vast collection of quality vintage clothing and jewelry assured me to find what I was looking for…

I must say that going to her store made me a bit sad, since in my mind I had over and over the thought that she was not with us  anymore physically while browsing her collections 😦

I didn’t have the chance to meet Squinternet in SL nor even to model for her brand, but I felt her loss very deeply last year, so this styling I present to you today, I feel it as a good way to pay homage to her work by styling something among her creations.

Thank you Squinternet for the gift of your creativity, and thank you as well to the ones that keep her memory alive by running her store in Second Life!
